the swan by bia37 the swan by bia37
The somewhat nicer part of the swan river Perth Western Australia.

Trying to take more natural, less tonemapped images =)

The contrast and the colours are great. As well as the compo. The rainbow in the background make it special. :+fav:

beautiful shot, excellent exposure, focus & composition.

manaing to capture the rainbow amongst all of this is very impressed.

you should be proud this is a real improvement in your standard of photography.

yes, I'm with the suggestions.. specially the bigger F number and slower shutter..
if I have a remark on this, it would be the inclined horizon..!!
and I agree that many exposures are way better than one single raw..

Great composition and tonal contrast. If you get the chance of this kind of shot again try the smallest apperture available, manually focus at about 1/3 into the depth of field and under expose by about one stop. This would make foreground through to infinity sharp although it would flatten the water due to motion blur. Just a thought. Nice work.

The tone mapping is beautiful. Real natural and the details youve captured are very precise and clear. At first I thought the very bottom of the picture was fringed/ghosted but I realized it was just focus. I see a rainbow :D

Is this psuedo? I'm starting to think a well made "real" hdr works more consistently than from one raw. Or maybe I'm just really fucking up in my post processing lately.
